The Akwa Ibom House of Assembly has passed a resolution urging relevant agencies to clamp down on violators of traffic rules.
The lawmaker urged the state government to design and implement a centralised multi-channel platform.
The parliament adjourned plenary and will reconvene on February 20 to complete the screening and confirmation of the seven remaining nominees.
He said the Governor Umo Eno-led administration was committed to boosting healthcare delivery through policy initiatives promoting public health.
Speaking shortly after the ceremony in Uyo, Mr Eno commended the Akwa Ibom House of Assembly for the expeditious passage of the appropriation bill.
Mr Eno assented to the budget on Thursday at an expanded Executive Council meeting held at Government House, Uyo.
Mr Eno had, on Nov. 21, presented a budget of N845.62 billion for 2024 to the House for consideration.
She urged the heads of MDAs to cooperate with the committee, as it would not entertain any unnecessary delay during budget defence.
NUJ has barred its members from covering the activities of the Akwa Ibom House of Assembly with immediate effect.
The inmates had been languishing in jail over their inability to pay their bail.
