The president-general of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, is dead.

The retreat also harped on the capacity of Ndigbo for self-sufficiency in food production.
The group noted that enlisting in the police was the pathway that could offer the possibility of becoming a senior police officer in the future.
“He pledged N100 million to the body, which he redeemed when he visited Iwuanyanwu in his Abuja residence,” Mr Ogbonnia said.
The group described Mr Nnaji as a visionary and rare Nigerian who had deployed his intellect for the growth of Nigeria.
“They do it for some peculiar selfish narrow interests and Ohaneze Ndigbo condemns that,” Mr Ogbonnia said.
“See how the Igbo people are dying. They keep saying that I have run away. Look at me; I’m here. E be like say una dey look for who go look for una finish una.”
NLC and other stakeholders in Enugu have lauded successive administrations in Nigeria for sustaining democracy in the country since 1999.
“We have seven Igbo governors, but they couldn’t manage Igbo interests as they were not coordinated.”
