In 2023, the anti-graft agency arraigned Mr Bello at the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court for N3 billion fraud.
Ali and Yahaya Bello and two others are standing trial in a N10 billion money laundering case.
They were soon admitted to N500 million bail each on February 20 in their N3 billion fraud trial.
The Abuja Division of the Federal High Court has fixed May 30 and 31 to continue the trial of Ali Bello, a nephew of Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi.
Last February, the anti-corruption commission arraigned the Kogi first lady (in absentia) and four others for money laundering and criminal misappropriation.
Court granted Governor Yahaya Bello’s nephew and three others N500 million bail each in an alleged N3 billion fraud trial.
Mrs Bello is, however, at large.
Justice R.O. Ayoola of the Kogi High Court also awarded N10 million against the EFCC.
