The minister stated that procedures had been initiated to return the detained irregular migrants to their home countries.
Mr Yerlikaya said coordinated operations were carried out across all 81 provinces on Wednesday.
Mr Yerlikaya said 209 of the suspects had been formally arrested, and courts imposed judicial control measures on 112 others.
The detained are accused of links to the Gulen movement, which Ankara blames for the failed coup attempt on July 15, 2016.
