The Dangote Cement in Gboko, Benue, has scaled up its corporate social responsibility schemes for its host communities.
The industrial giant said its goals will create a more stable and nurturing environment that promotes family welfare and sustainable communities.
Grenada PM disclosed this on Thursday during his tour of the Dangote Petroleum refinery and Petrochemicals complex in Ibeju Lekki, Lagos.
Dangote stated that Nigeria is uniquely positioned to capitalise on this opportunity and become a significant player in the global oil industry.
Mr Sanwo-Olu said, “Lagos State is the economic powerhouse of Nigeria.’’
“I never knew that the mafias in the oil industry are stronger than drug cartels. It’s a big cartel. I will keep saying anywhere,” said Mr Dangote.
CBN governor Yemi Cardoso says lifting petroleum products from the Dangote Refinery will moderate foreign exchange demand pressures.
Mr Okupe said, “With utmost respect, I disagree with Aliko Dangote.
Mr Olayinka explained that the plan by the Sanwo-Olu government was to pressure the group to back out from joining a case against the state government.
Speaking on the flooding incident, Dangote described the sight as “mindboggling”, and exclaimed that he has “never seen a disaster of this scale before.”
