The 15th Emir of Kano, Aminu Bayero, has announced the cancellation of the Eid-el-Fitr Durbar celebration due to security concerns.
The Kano government has directed the police commissioner to eject the 15th Emir of Kano, Aminu Bayero, from the Nasarawa Palace.
The judge described Governor Yusuf’s order directing the police to arrest Mr Ado-Bayero without lawful justification as threatening his fundamental rights.
While Mr Sanusi led at the central mosque, Mr Bayero observed his prayers at the Nasarawa Palace.
The moment the Supreme Court upheld Governor Abba Yusuf’s election in January, Bayero knew the governor would need the throne to pay his debt.
”The police will continue to provide necessary security to ensure that will enable residents to observe their Friday congressional prayers peacefully,” Mr Gumel said.
The governor called on the newly elected members to be dedicated and move the institute to greater heights.
“The police command wishes to appreciate the good people of Kano State for their continuous support and cooperation.”
Mr Malami made the assertion at the launch and public presentation of his autobiography on Thursday in Abuja.
“For example, for a project that will cost N26 billion, you are putting N500 million in the budget for a whole year,” stated Mr Wike.
