The command’s spokesperson, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the arrest to journalists in Lagos on Sunday.
The EKEDC boss said, “Efficient energy use is key to reducing electricity bills.”
The judge ordered that the sentencing should run concurrently and the convict’s name put in the Lagos State sexual offences register.
The DisCo also said it would continue to make more efforts to reduce fraud, vandalism and energy theft within its network operations.
The victims father testified that the defendant used to lure his daughter with N10 or N20 to allegedly have sex with her.
“More than 20 police stations were burnt in the state during the EndSARS protests in October 2020.”
