Mr Okpara said the victory reaffirmed APGA’s position as the true political identity of Igbos and the custodian of Anambra’s development aspirations.
Mr Nwosu said the people of Anambra had not spoken, alleging that the election was marred by massive vote-buying and financial inducements at polling units.
“This is the best election INEC has organised in Anambra so far,” Mr Soludo said.
A review of the results showed incumbent Governor Charles Soludo is taking the lead.
The executive director of Yiaga Africa identified vote-buying and low turnout as recurring issues observed in the thematic areas of the election.
Mr Umeh said that a timely upload would guarantee transparency and public trust in the governorship election.
“This kind of monetisation of democracy must stop if we truly want progress in Anambra and Nigeria at large,” she said.
“I’d rather stand by integrity and lose honourably than buy votes to win,” Mr Nwosu said.
Action Alliance gubernatorial candidate Jeff Nweke has commended the conduct and turnout of voters during Saturday’s election.
The voter said she was satisfied with the voting process.
