The local government chairman’s arrest and detention was precipitated by a petition filed by the Chief Executive Officer of Aduro Farms, Dr Anthony Aduro.
It was learnt that the armed thugs stormed the venue and launched a violent attack, destroying the band’s musical equipment and assaulting members.
The chairman urged the special advisers to provide sound counsel, bring forth creative ideas, and act as bridges between the government and the people.
Mr Ogunsakin warned that anyone found engaging in scavenging without proper identification would be arrested and prosecuted, accordingly.
Mr Ogunsakin said that the gesture was part of ongoing efforts to reposition Okitipupa LGA for improved grassroots development.
Ondo has witnessed violent attacks on several communities recently.
