The statement said, “Lambeth Palace is pleased to announce that Archbishop Sarah will visit the Anglican Church of the Province of West Africa.”
The new guideline is to ensure that the church remains a place of worship, unity, and spiritual guidance, free from the distractions and divisions of partisan politics.
The archbishop advised the faithful to always pray for their leaders either political, community or religious ones.
Mr Ike made the call in a New Year message he issued on Wednesday in Enugu with the title ‘Another Year is Dawning’.
Mr Ndukuba emphasised the church’s historical role in pioneering healthcare in Nigeria.
“There is no need to kill because of religion like what is happening in other areas.’’
“We are eager and expecting an administration that will bring hope and transformation over what has been wrong. We believe it is going to be real next level.’’
Christians have recognised “since ancient times that God is neither male nor female,” the church said in a statement.
“The economic situation is harsh now, but it is not enough reason for marriages to be abandoned for materialism,” said the cleric.
We certainly cannot afford to be accumulating debts capable of enslaving our future generations,” the Anglican primate warned.
