Mr Shettima says the PDP’s “presidential dream” was a “televised national circus”.
The APC candidate said he and his running mate, Kashim Shettima, “shall work tirelessly” to bring Nigerians to “that promised future”.
The event was witnessed by the APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, and his vice-presidential candidate, Kashim Shettima.
To those questioning Mr Tinubu’s health status, the Ebonyi governor said, “Asiwaju has life and he doesn’t need to show any proof of life”.
Mr Tinubu was described as a “tested” leader who “redefined” leadership.

The scribe said that leaders and members of AMFON were solidly behind Mr Tinubu to actualise his ambition to become Nigeria’s next president in 2023.
“The election of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the APC presidential flag bearer is indeed an important political development in our country,” said Mr Yakasai.
“I pray you get the ticket if I dont get it, because, you are eminently qualified to be President of Nigeria,” Mr Umahi said to the senate president during a visit on Saturday.
Mr Onu appealed to the delegates to vote for him as the APC presidential candidate during the party’s convention in Abuja.
