Mr Llewellyn-Jones said the strength of Lagos is its diversity as Nigeria’s cosmopolitan city.
Mr Rhodes-Vivour said he also visited families of those killed during the election, accusing the ruling All Progressives Congress of unleashing violence on voters.
Idowu Owohunwa, the police CP in Lagos, said feedbacks from police officers in the field, was how he arrived at a peaceful election.
The Nigeria Youth’s Movement for Peter Obi and Datti Ahmed asked security agencies to fish out the attackers.
“We also wish to commend security operatives who ensured the return of peace in the area,” APC stated.
State police spokesman, ASP Kamilu Shatambaya, told journalists that the allegation was baseless and had no truth.
The violence came during an exercise to elect a new House of Assembly member for Ekiti East Constituency 1.
