The judge, Irene Pati, sentenced the convict after he pleaded guilty to the offence.
The husband asked her to pay back the N20,000 dowry he paid for her hand in marriage.
The judge urged the two parties to tolerate each other and try to live together in peace.
“He has abandoned our matrimonial bed for me and the children, as he now sleeps on the couch in the living room without any affection or care,” said Ms Nagode-Allah.
“My parents have good plans for me,” said the Yabatech student.
The convict confessed to having absconded with the vehicle and converted it to personal use.
An Area Court in Jos on Tuesday sentenced a teenager, Ibrahim Ali, for stealing a goat valued at N20,000.
The police alleged that the accused stole the cop’s Infinix phone worth N35,000 and belt worth N6,000.
They pleaded guilty to kidnapping and raping an eight-month-pregnant woman.
