The police command in Jigawa says it has apprehended 13 suspects over alleged kidnapping, robbery, theft, and cattle rustling.
ADC warned that such actions undermined constitutional safeguards and democratic accountability standards.
“Copyright infringement is considered a criminal offence under Nigerian law, punishable by fines and imprisonment,” said the NCC chief.
The police said the two dismissed soldiers belonged to a robbery gang that allegedly specialised in snatching vehicles at gunpoint from motorists in Lagos.
“The team tracked the bandits from Yakasai to Awai village, where they found the victims in a hut, unharmed,” the police spokesman said.
He said the deceased had a fundamental right to life guaranteed and enforceable under the laws.
The police said they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The suspects were arrested between August 24 and September 15, an official said.
