The command said that the operatives rescued one kidnapped victim and recovered an AK49 rifle loaded with 24 live ammunition during the operation.

According to the Nigeria Police, the drive to recruit 10,000 police officers has gained momentum.
Police spokesperson in the state, Mohammed Jalige, told journalists that the victims were rescued on Friday.
Police in Kaduna State has foiled two kidnap attempts in Chickun and Igabi Local Government Areas of the state.
More operatives have been deployed to Jema’a and Kaura local government areas to forestall the breakdown of law and order.
An AK47 rifle and two packets of 12-gauge shotgun shells were concealed in the engine compartment of the car intercepted.
More students are still in captivity.
Mr Jalige said the attack, which occurred on July 23, at about 11:00 p.m., involved a large number of bandits who came in three Sharon utility vehicles.
The suspects abandoned their car on sighting the police and fled into the forest.
