PDP and Mr Asue were to produce witnesses to testify in their petition seeking to nullify the governorship election held on September 21, 2024.
Both parties have accused each other of sponsoring thugs who disrupted the tribunal sitting last week.
The polling units are in Ward II of Ikpoba Okha LGA, where he alleged four electoral irregularities.
The petitioners are expected to call their witnesses within 21 days or less.

The PDP and its candidate, Asue Ighodalo, had accused INEC of not obeying a court order granting the inspection of the election materials.
In the petition, all the prayers of the petitioners were granted by the tribunal.
“We will make all of our agencies that you believe will speak to the needs of Edo available to you,” Sanwo-Olu added.
Mr Okpebholo said his election as governor of Edo signalled a new dawn for the state and promised to work with the opposition if they had good ideas.
Messrs Okpebolo and Idahosa, elected under the APC platform, visited Mr Tinubu after INEC presented their certificates of return at the electoral body’s headquarters in Abuja.
