Mr Sonubi will attain 60 years of age on Sunday and would by then have served the Nigeria Police Force for 33 years.
The CP said the command would start impounding vehicles with irregular documents, and their owners would be taken before the law court.
Mr Osifeso said that police personnel had been deployed in the area to maintain law and order.
Mr Osifeso said 202 police personnel were promoted in the state command.
Mr Sonubi said other offences committed by the suspects ranged from unlawful possession of firearms and hard drugs.
The CP said that criminals were planning their ways but the police wouldn’t allow them to have their way.
He said community residents had noticed an offensive odour oozing out of a building belonging to the 40-year-old suspect, who didn’t reside in the house.
Mr Sonubi said that the show of force was also to ensure that the state remained peaceful.
The CP said the police acknowledged the undebatable right of the citizens to engage in peaceful protest, which must not, however, turn violent.
The police boss said that the suspects would be arraigned at the end of investigations.
