The suit was preceded by NBC’s now-suspended revocation of licences of about 52 television and radio stations said to be indebted to the commission.
The NLC said it believed in the rescue of Nigeria from consumption to production economy.
This comes days after the NLC national president vowed that Organised Labour will deliver more than 10 million votes for the Labour Party in the 2023 elections.
NLC said it would play a significant role in changing Nigeria’s politics in 2023.
Mr Wanna said the feat achieved in routine immunisation in the country had reduced the prevalence of the virus.
Mr Wabba, however, described the action by NBC as a “slippery road to press emasculation.”
The NLC had organised a mega protest in solidarity with the trade unions in the public universities over their lingering strike.
Mr Wabba faulted the federal government’s purported rejection of the Nimi-Briggs Committee report of the university based union’s negotiations.
“They have their mandate which is to mobilise, even though anytime I meet with them, they claim they founded the party and must take over.”
NLC President Ayuba Wabba said the salary review for the entire public sector was imperative as it was long overdue.
