The convict was solely arraigned on July 14, 2022, and he pleaded not guilty to the charge.
He said that the convict exploited the vulnerability of the child under his care to defile her.
The court further ordered that the name of the convict be registered in the sexual offences register as maintained by the Lagos State government.
The judge maintained that the convict’s conduct represented a profound violation of secular and religious principles.
