The council spokesman, Gambo Garba, said the exercise was a continuation of the 2024 Zakkat collection and distribution exercise.
“I want to use this medium to appeal to the president to match his words with action and dialogue with true protesters as promised,” she advised.
A ram that sold for N80,000 last year was now going for N150,000.
“In addition, the new leadership of the forum may likely unfold their unity and progressive agenda during the meeting,” Mr Maduabum said.
He also noted that there were no reports of intimidation, vote buying, or any act that contravened the electoral law.
