In the meantime, the police in Ondo said it has arrested two suspects in connection with the killing of the victim.
“The curfew imposed on Ikare has been relaxed…,” Ms Ademola-Olateju told the reporters shortly after the government’s executive council meeting.
The decision was reached at the end of the State Executive Council meeting held in the state capital, Akure on Tuesday evening.
A call has gone to both parents and teachers not to shy away from teaching their children sexual education, particularly the girls as they are the most vulnerable in society.
According to Ms Ademola-Olateju, the number of fatalities has risen to 41 while 17 persons are still in the hospital.
