Residents are to report suspicious persons to end the alarming spate of kidnappings, killings and other crimes.
On April 10, bandits were said to have attacked four villages, killing 106 persons and many properties destroyed.

The emir of Gwandu in Kebbi described the involvement of traditional leaders in banditry as worrisome.
According to the minister, the police are also re-strategising their kinetic and non-kinetic operations.
The NSCDC commandant commended the hunters in fighting bandits, and other criminals across Nigeria, urging them to help tackle criminals in Zamfara.
“The police and other security agencies have by this directives been mandated to enforce the dismantling of all ‘Yan Sa Kai’ activities.”
“This is to enable the people to retake their lands, especially as we are approaching a new farming season.”
The commissioner further advised the school administrators to be security conscious and promptly report any security threats in their schools.
