“Tinubu’s policies have not had the expected impact on the people. He has not put smiles on the faces of Nigerians,” said Bode George.
“This mandate is about tackling corruption and not any imaginary adversary or political motive,” the EFCC stated.
The meeting is scheduled to take place on Tuesday at the NEC Hall, PDP National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Abuja, between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Mr George said the next leadership of the party must be seen to be committed to the vision and ideology of PDP.
Mr George said, “Since Tinubu has forgiven Sanwo-Olu, then it makes a lot of sense, spiritually, to also forgive Fubara and let him return to office.’’
Both deceased nationalists inspired the 2014 confab convened by former President Goodluck Jonathan and participated in it.
“Anyone within the PDP saying Atiku should not contest in 2027 is working for the opposition and not for the party or the country,” said Mr Adewale.
Mr George also faulted the involvement of Mr Atiku in the coalition to unseat Tinubu.
Mrs Tinubu said that the award was dedicated to every Nigerian woman and youth contributing to the country’s progress.
