IWD is celebrated every March 8 across the world to recognise the role of women in society.
The commissioner said participants were trained in digital marketing, online visibility and customer engagement, and were supported with Android smartphones.
Ms Oshinlaja praised WAPA for the valuable training she received in the craft of tie and dye.
Mr Sanwo-Olu said the initiative was deliberate to uplift young entrepreneurs and support them with the needed tools to start their businesses.
Ms Dada said, “Every achievement we have made in this ministry is not by human power but by the grace of God.’’
While wishing women a joyous celebration, the commissioner said it is a time for reflection, gratitude and unity.
“I’m happy and thankful for the opportunity extended to us (foreigners) to be part of this training.’’
Mrs Dada gave the assurance while speaking to newsmen on resumption of duty on Wednesday in Lagos.
The Speaker, Mudashiru Obasa, made this known at plenary.
“Such a rejection is an unprecedented development in Lagos since 1999,” stated Joe Okei-Odumakin.
