Mr Kwankwaso has attracted Ibrahim Shekarau and other Kano bigwigs to the party, driving claims he might positioning the party as the country’s viable third force next year.
The chairman said resourceful people join the parties for their selfish interests while looking away from minor parties.
“We, the New Nigeria Peoples Party members, shall liberate every Nigerian to enable us to live in peace as brothers and sisters. Yes, we shall do that in God’s name.”
