The Federal Road Safety Corps has begun its 2026 Eid el-Kabir special patrol operations in Anambra, deploying 210 operatives to ensure safer roads.
Mrs Asekhauno said that the officers were deployed alongside 29 operational vehicles.

Mrs Asekhauno attributed the crash to speeding and loss of control.
Ms Asekhauno said the incident involved a commercial tanker with no registration number.
Mrs Asekhauno described the accident as preventable.
