The competition commenced with weapons handling and shooting at the Guards Brigade Shooting Range in Keffi.
Troops of the Nigerian Army have dismantled kidnappers’ hideouts in Edo North senatorial district, apprehended 13 suspects and recovered arms, drugs and other incriminating items.
Troops of the 12 Brigade Nigerian Army, deployed at the forward operating base in Oguma, on Sunday, rescued two victims abandoned by suspected kidnappers in Kogi.
Mr Tukur commended the federal government and the Defence Headquarters for sustaining the scheme.
He commended the Brigade for the level of success recorded in the state.
According to the statement, the terrorists have been attacking locals and setting houses ablaze before the arrival of troops.
He was arrested while making attempts to collect money from aspiring recruits.

“Upon receiving the information, the troops of 93 Battalion, under 6 Brigade, swiftly mobilised to the scene.’’
