To frame President Tinubu as uniquely anti-democratic in Nigeria’s history is not to deny the flaws of those who came before him.
“There is no sense in what he (Mr Baba-Ahmed) said. It is absolute nonsense,” Mr Atiku’s spokesman told Peoples Gazette.

The Zamfara State APC chapter also extended condolences to the acting national chairman of the party, Ali Dalori.
The motorcade with a hearse conveying the remains of Buhari departed the Katsina Airport for Daura, a distance of 88.6km at 3.15p.m.
Many dignitaries are in Katsina State to witness the burial of ex-president Muhammadu Buhari.
Mr Ajaero said the NLC was deeply saddened by the news of Mr Buhari’s passing, and the members’ hearts were with the immediate family, friends, and associates
“Our thoughts are with his family and the people of Nigeria during this time of loss,” the statement read.
The Progressive Governors Forum described Mr Buhari’s death as shocking.
He added that any political discourse that excludes youth representation should be rejected by Nigerian youths.
