Catriona Laing expressed concern over a potentially adverse effect of the naira scarcity on logistics for deploying foreign election observers.
The INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu, said the affected polling units do not have registered voters.
Mr Agboke said he would take it up personally to prosecute any electoral officer or SPO found culpable.
The figure is an improvement from the more than 470,000 uncollected PVCs in the state in 2022.
The exercise which began around 9:00 a.m. was conducted in six local government areas of the state.
Observers said that the BVAS machines functioned well, and commended INEC for the initiative.
“Vote, but don’t kill. Vote for good governance and a better Nigeria. This election will come and go,” said the NOA director. “Say no to violence.”
“Logistics has often been a major Achilles heel of elections in Nigeria. We are determined to solve the challenge. We have established a logistics management system.”
According to INEC, with BVAS only voters will determine who wins elections in Nigeria.
He said with the arrival of the last consignment in Abuja on Tuesday, INEC had now taken delivery of the required number of BVAS machines for all polling units in the country.
