Mr Chude was arrested on Saturday after he compared Anambra under Governor Charles Soludo to the crime-tainted tenure of former governor Chinwoke Mbadinuju.
Mr Chude had tweeted about suspected APGA thugs invading multiple polling units while the state’s House of Assembly elections were underway on Saturday.
The former governor said Mr Soludo “possesses the required vision that can move Anambra State to the next level.”
