Mr Ajayi stressed that PTAD discovered that 7,091 pensioners in the sector were being underpaid based on the payroll it inherited.
The Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD) has hailed President Muhammadu Buhari for prioritising payments of pensions.
“While modalities to recover the overpayment will be worked out in due course, letters to the affected pensioners have been dispatched.”

PTAD has paid an additional nine months of consequential adjustment arrears occasioned by the new minimum wage increase of 2019 to the DBS pensioners.
