Mr Abayomi disclosed that since the cholera outbreak in the state, about 15 persons had died because they started treatment late.
Ms Agomoh said the 109 cases of stooling and vomiting suspected to be cholera outbreaks were recorded between January and June.
The UN organisation also called for concerted efforts to prevent disruption in the academic calendar over the spread of cholera.

Enugu’s epidemiologist, Ogbodo Okechukwu, says the state is committed to preventing and preparing for potential cholera outbreaks.
This followed the deaths of 27 people and 567 new cases in the previous 24 hours, data released by the ministry on Sunday showed.
