He said that the new unit was created in line with the IGP’s directive.

Mr Giwa gave the charge on Monday after leading officers and men of the command in an environmental sanitation exercise in Enugu.
Mr Uzuegbu assured her of the police’s continued willingness to foster close and productive interagency cooperation with the customs in Enugu.
The Enugu CP warned miscreants to steer clear of the protests.
The CP said the security officers’ resilience and diligence made the exercise peaceful and successful.
The CP promised to adopt a safer approach to secure the state.
The commissioner also assured the residents of the state that further development on the matter would be made public.
Mr Uzuegbu gave the charge after he decorated six newly promoted senior police officers with their new ranks in Enugu on Saturday.
“I, therefore, solicit the continuous collaboration and support of the police,” he said.
