The Katsina State Congress Committee of the African Democratic Congress has disowned a purported state congress, labeling it as illegal, and unconstitutional.
Mr Jibo said N247.1 billion, representing 21.8 per cent of the budget, is for personnel costs.
Mr Kilo also suggested the need for capacity-building training for workers to improve efficiency in the state civil service.
The committee chairman, Fuad Kayode Laguda (APC-Lagos), made the call at an oversight session with some rectors of the Federal Polytechnic in Abuja.
“Therefore, any parent who visits any school in the state to quarrel with teachers should be prepared to take their child home,” she said.
This followed the adoption of the report of the Committee on Police Affairs at the Committee of the Whole on Thursday.
The bill, sponsored by Solomon Adeola, seeks to amend the ICAN Act.
The minister reiterated President Bola Tinubu’s determination to eliminate terrorism and banditry and solicited more support from the National Assembly.
Presenting the report, the committee chairman, Abiru Adetounboi, said four of the five nominees appeared for screening.
Mr Doguwa lauded the recent achievements of the military and other security agencies in uncovering facilities used to deprive the country of its crude oil.
