The governor said the state executive council applied for the fund to develop its agricultural sector.
Mr Preyor (PDP-Bomadi), who expressed concern over the ailing agency, said it should not be allowed to go into extinction.
“In addition to our core jurisdictional mandate, we will be addressing the revenue and fiscal aspects of the various Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs).”
He noted that the committee would promote Governor Francis Nwifuru’s campaign mantra in the agricultural sector of embarking on practical agriculture.

The PDP candidate promised to reform the state civil service, improve infrastructure and create an Independent Kogi Economic Development Commission.
Governor Alex Otti said he would review promotions of civil servants from 2007 to date.
