Mr Osinbajo spoke on Saturday night at the APC convention, held at the Eagles Square, Abuja.
Nigeria now has a recorded case of 181,962, while the fatality toll from the disease now stands at 2,219.
As states struggle to curb the spread of the COVID-19 Delta variant, Nigeria is now averaging more than 700 new cases, says the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control.
Akin Abayomi, Lagos State Commissioner for Health, says 42 persons have died from COVID-19-related complications in the state between August 1 and 8.
According to the agency, there are about 7,224 active COVID-19 cases in the country.
“We have not received any report from the state governors on how they distributed these food items. This has made us have a rethink.”
However, the night curfew is to remain in place between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m.
“Once we have done that, we shall commence the vaccination exercise without further delay.”
“Tourism and entertainment will become major contributors to socio-economic growth and development,” the governor said.
Prime Minister Mark Rutte condemned the suspected attack as ‘totally unacceptable.’
