The police on Monday arraigned two men before the Badagry Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos for stealing three cows valued at N12 million.
Ms Mbah said that in spite of the disruption, there was no power loss in the Nsukka area.
BUA managing director Yusuf Binji led the presentation of the items to traditional rulers from the communities on Wednesday in Sokoto.
“The criminal elements launched a rustling operation targeting a Fulani settlement near Jebjeb Village in Karim Lamido Local Government Area,” said the army.
The tool used a simple DNA sample, such as a tuft of hair, to rate animals on a scale centred at 100, with higher scores indicating greater tolerance to hot conditions.
The number of cows slaughtered daily in Lagos has dropped from 5,000 to 3,000, says the Lagos State Butchers Association.
Mr Olugbon warned that any unregistered abattoir would be raided.
“My administration will no longer tolerate brutal killings of innocent citizens.’’
Ms Emokpae said the vaccination of domesticated animals, free of charge, would also be conducted alongside the inspection exercise.
”Our hospitals, schools, and other public places don’t have water, and this is affecting our personal hygiene and environmental sanitation,” she lamented.
