The Cross River House of Assembly on Wednesday suspended four councillors of Akpabuyo Legislative Council for 90 days over alleged gross misconduct.
Ms Ushie was suspended on June 10 for three months on allegations of corruption, misconduct and abuse of power.
The swearing-in followed the suspension of the elected LG chairman, Theresa Ushie, by the Cross River House of Assembly.
He said the 10th Assembly had surpassed the achievements of the last three assemblies in the state.
It was later referred to the House Committee on Transport and Marine Services for further legislative procedures.
Elvert Ayambem, speaker of the House, commended the committee for working hard to complete the legislative procedures necessary to pass the bill.
Mr Oko said that providing potable water in Cross River State was gradually becoming a challenge.

At the house’s sitting on Thursday in Calabar, 22 of 25 legislators voted in favour of the governor’s request.
Davies Etta, deputy majority leader of the Cross River House of Assembly, says the parliament passed 28 laws in 12 months.
