In its ”Daily Shipping Position,” NPA said two expected vessels would berth with diesel.
The company said on its website that tanker ships would be able to receive oil by mid-May.
Iraq exported about 106.11 million barrels of crude oil in March, the country’s oil ministry said.
The federal government had announced the new crude oil production target of 2.5 million barrels per day, which aims to grow the foreign exchange reserve.
The commander further stated that while still on patrol, naval personnel arrested a Mazda 323 vehicle carrying 1,300 litres of illegally refined products.

The three vessels are expected to carry general cargo and crude oil.
The navy said the crew comprised one Ghanaian and 12 Nigerians on board the Ghanaian-owned and registered vessel, Motor Tanker (MT) SWEET MIRI.
The NPA said the three ships were expected to berth with crude oil, bulk urea and diesel.
