The transport minister noted that the inauguration reflected the collaborative efforts of the federal and Lagos governments.
According to Mr Jiachun, China is the largest economy in Asia.
Mr Sule also appreciated the Chinese Embassy in Nigeria’s unwavering support to the country and ministry.
“Nigeria as a country is a big giant, we need talented people, skilled and knowledgeable batch of experts to build this great country.”
China has identified people-to-people cooperation, which leads to cultural exchanges.
“We have lifted more than 700 million people out of poverty in China, and in Nigeria, there are 200 million with 100 million living below the poverty line.”
The envoy also proposed the organising of events in China where Nigerian movies could be watched by Chinese Citizens to educate them more about the country.
The construction of the edifice, located in Abuja, Nigeria, would be fully funded by China.
“And, we believe that education can make our country stronger, well safe.”
Mr Yuxi, while expressing the Chinese government’s full commitment to improved bilateral relationships with Nigeria, appreciated Nigeria for upholding the One China Policy.
