Ms Durodola said the offence contravened sections 249 (d) and 351 of the Criminal Code Laws of Oyo State, 2000.
The defendant prayed the court to allow him take care of his daughter since he has remarried.

“The estranged husband had insisted to have custody of their three children with reasons,” noted the judge.
The complainant told the court that her former husband, Abubakar Ishaq, took the child to his mother after he divorced her in 2020.
