The 47-year-old Lagos-based socialite was released from the U.S. Bureau of Prisons’ custody in Fort Dix, New Jersey, on November 15, 2024.
Mr Okpebholo, accompanied by his two daughters, took the oath of office and allegiance at 1pm administered by the Chief Judge of the state, Justice Daniel Okungbowa.
Ogun local government elections will take place on Nov. 16.
