Mr Idimogu said any politician who finds it difficult to accept defeat is not fit to lead the country.
The minister of state for labour accused opposition parties of trying to truncate Nigeria’s democracy.
“Mr President, do not organise that handover. CJN, your lordship, do not swear in this man so long as that problem is not (sic),” Mr Datti-Ahmed said.
“We do not have a president-elect in Nigeria today. What Alhaji Tinubu is holding is a dud certificate. It’s a dud cheque.”
The election has been marred by controversies following INEC’s refusal to upload results of polling units to its portal.
“Calling him for this honourable task in our assessment will comfort Nigerians for a new beginning,” said Ms Ezeanyaeche.
The former Anambra governor said he was bound by all the promises made to Nigerians and would not renege on them if elected.
“If we get it wrong, nobody can tell what next will happen. In all I am doing, I will always wish Nigeria the best,” Mr Obi stressed.
Mr Obi also promised to address security challenges bedevilling the country, especially the North.
