According to Mr Umahi, the standard engineering design for headroom is 5.6.
The contractor said preliminary work had been ongoing, and at the minister’s instruction, his team would assess the site on Monday.
The bridge is expected to be completed in December 2026.
The minister said there would be remedial work on the bridge.
