The Minister of Works, David Umahi, inaugurated the committee in Abuja and said the goal was to ensure transparency in all undertakings.
Mr Okpor said the banned contractors handled the ongoing housing estate in Izzo and Amaeze autonomous communities in Ishielu Local Government Area.
He urged the contractors to always consider the sufferings of the road users as they set up their work plans.
He attributed the hardships to several preceding factors.
The minister expressed President Bola Tinubu’s concern about escalating commodity prices, including cement.
Cement Manufacturers came to an agreement to sell a 50kg bag of cement at a retail price of between N7,000 and N8,000, depending on the location.
“I am going to appeal the judgment disqualifying me…While we acknowledge that the judgment is contrived and deliberately done for political reasons,” said Mr Onu.
Mr Umahi urged citizens to support Mr Tinubu’s government.
The minister, who had earlier inspected the Mararaba-Keffi road, expressed joy that Mr Tinubu had released funds for the completion of the projects.
The minister had earlier made a commitment to the road being completed in 2024.
