Justice Ibironke Harrison of a Lagos High Court has sentenced policeman Drambi Vandi to death by hanging for shooting a Lagos-based lawyer, Omobolanle Raheem.
The defendant was arraigned on July 16, 2021 by Kano State government on four counts charge bordering on blasphemous comments against Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
The girls, between the ages of 12 and 16, were sexually groomed by the teacher, who would impregnate eight of them.
Justice Igwe stressed that the judgement will serve as a deterrent to others, describing the murder as unlawful and gruesome.
