The party described Mr Akeredolu as a courageous and amiable personality and brilliant lawyer.
Mr Ologunagba said Nigerians celebrated the season in “hunger” following the “anti-people” policies of the All Progressives Congress-led government.
He prayed to God to bless Mr Saraki with many more years in good health.
Mr Ologunagba stated that the committee gave the directive after thoroughly reviewing the party’s current state.
He said that during the period, Mr Abubakar achieved unprecedented national productivity in all sectors.
Mr Ologunagba said the PDP had engaged in vigorous, issue-based and people-driven campaigns in the three states.
Mr Ologunagba urged all PDP members and supporters in the state to be calm.
“The PDP asserts that it is indeed a sad commentary for our democracy that the Supreme Court failed to uphold the provisions of the law.”
The opposition party has also said that all electoral indicators in the state show that Mr Uzodimma has been rejected by the people.
The party issued the statement after a group had claimed that its NWC had relieved Mr Anyanwu of his elected position as national secretary.
