He said during the week under review, troops arrested 224 persons.

Mr Buba said that Habu Dogo was a wanted terrorist on the watch list of security agencies both in Nigeria and in the Niger Republic.
Mr Buba stated that administrative procedure for notifying the deceased’s family was ongoing.
According to him, troops are taking the fight to the terrorists and making significant strides each passing day.
Mr Buba said the troops recovered 97 assorted weapons and 3,117 assorted ammunition during the week.
Mr Buba said that the rescued hostages had been handed over to the Sokoto State Government for further action.
The defence spokesperson said the armed forces would continue to combat the criminals.
Mr Buba said the troops also rescued 4,488 kidnapped hostages.Â
“The armed forces is hunting down prominent terrorist leaders.’’
