”The suspects will be charged to court upon the conclusion of investigations,” he added.
EFCC alleged that he committed stealing by conversion.
According to him, EFCC operatives arrested the suspects on September 28 and 29 following actionable intelligence linking the suspects to online criminal activities.
Mr Olukoyede said, “If we do the right things in our little spaces, Nigeria will be a better place.’’
The EFCC said that the suspects would soon be charged to court.
“All 13 suspects claim to be students at Usmanu Danfodio University in Sokoto. Once investigations are concluded, they will face charges in court,” EFCC said.
Meanwhile, Mr Akugbo described the visit as necessary to strengthen the existing collaboration between the SSS and the EFCC.
Th EFCC vowed to prosecute him regardless of his antics.
“They said we should bring N15 million that they will remove the money laundering,” Bobrisky allegedly said.
The EFCC chairman said that vote buying was a financial crime and the commission would not allow it anywhere.
