Mr Onoja said the operations significantly degraded criminal capabilities.
Mr Onoja said troops also dismantled illegal refinery sites.
The defence headquarters described the attack as a sign of desperation by the terrorists following recent losses in the North-East.
Mr Onoja said the troops also intercepted about 51,000 litres of stolen crude oil within the past week.
Mr Kangye dismissed allegations by Amnesty International accusing the troops of extrajudicial killings in the South-East.

Kangye noted that the troops also apprehended 18 individuals involved in oil theft
He said the military also recovered an impressive haul of weapons and ammunition, totalling 296 assorted weapons and 7,245 rounds of ammunition.
Mr Buba added that the operation was conducted on January 17 along the Shinkafi, Kagara, Fakai, Moriki, Maiwa, and Chindo axis.
